SCV6

The SCV6 is built around a 40-channel SSL-4000E mixing desk with Total Recall. It has been designed primarily for live and recorded multi-track shows, and has a long and distinguished past of live broadcasts and recordings.

The unit has comprehensive recording capabilities. Options include digital multi-track recording on Pyramix, Sony PCM3348, Mackie HDR 24/96. It comes complete with a complement of microphones and an impressive range of optional out-board equipment embracing the latest digital recording and editing technology.

On-board facilities also include a video camera kit with two monitors, one widescreen. The vehicle is equipped with a 64-channel Nexus fibre system to route the audio from the stage to the truck, it also has a Telex stage communications system.

The main monitoring is a pair of PMC MB2 loud speakers and Excel 201 providing nearfield monitoring. SCV6 has a superb listening environment for multi-track mixing and recording and has excellent sound proofing and acoustic treatment. SCV6 is capable of live mixing and recording a wide variety of pop and rock music events, such as Friday Night is Music Night and festivals such as Glastonbury.
