Contribution studios

There are four self-operated studios located on the ground floor of Western House, just a moment's walk from Broadcasting House. Their primary use is for Local Radio to have guests in a quality atmosphere in Central London, but they are also used by our international colleagues and many network radio programmes.

The studios can be used for outgoing contributions, as well as for recording locally and using incoming connections via ISDN. Please contact the Control Room Schedules unit for bookings and for advice on the most appropriate or cost effective way of establishing incoming or outgoing lines.

Please bear in mind that the studios are intended for simple tasks, and that staffed studios would be more appropriate for complex operations.
