Maida Vale 1

Maida Vale 1 is one of the UK 's largest purpose built recording studios and is the home of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. With a vast space of 756m2, it can accommodate a full symphony orchestra (150+ musicians) with ample room for a choir of one hundred or more.

The audience capacity is 220 (including 112 seated in the balcony area) with the addition of 150 orchestra plus up to 100 choir. The total number of people allowed in the basement at any one time cannot exceed 500.
